Haldon Forest Butterflies

There was an abundance of Pearl Bordered Fritilary, but not so many SPB Fritilaries. It was great to see a mating pair being buzzed by a hopeful male, who was completely ignored. Other species of note were Brimstone, Dingy and Grizzled Skipper, Speckled Yellow moths, Green Veined White and a Painted Lady. It was well worth the visit.
