Saunton Sands & Downend

Early am start produced 1 vocal Snow Bunting which flew north over the top of my head towards the Saunton Sands Hotel as far as the eye could see but did not alight. I would have expected it to be heading in the opposite southerly direction but not in this case!

Later, the Great Northern Diver landed in Bideford & Barnstaple Bay while I was still on Saunton Sands, so I headed out in the direction it was swimming towards Downend but not on my surfboard!

Managed to get in a good position above it to digiscope it for a record shot.
