Start Point

Had a good go at Start today but it was quiet and felt more like late April. Quite a few Gannets heading south first thing and a Great Skua which flew high over the Point. No vis mig of note except for a surprising 58 Skylarks that headed out from the light between 08:10-09:00, early for these here. Elsewhere Golden Plover, Firecrest ( no Goldcrest ), 11 Chiffchaffs, 7 Blackcaps and the first Reed Bunting of the autumn. Best part of 1000 Linnets between the farm and the BBC field. Nice to see 7 Clouded Yellows.
