In 2015 the BTO are starting a survey of House Martins and our local BTO Regional Rep., Stella Beavan, has explained ‘We need volunteers who are willing to carry out two or three visits to a 1-km square between late May and mid-July, to look for House Martins and their nests.
The squares for this year are randomly selected and will help to establish a baseline. It would be really great to have DB members take part in the survey.
