Planning Application of Interest
Devon County Council are due to hear a planning application on 30th March in relation to land between Shiilingford St George and Kennford.
The application is for an 80 Acre landfill site to with soil being removed to allow for over 1 million tons of inert landfill, to be deposited.
The land is close to Shillingford Woods, which were recently purchased for the benefit of the local Community.
