The East Devon Branch of Devon Birds Field Trip transpired to decend on Black Hole Marsh at Seaton this morning and although, we were aware “Izzy”had long gone and was probably bouncing around in Cornwall our spirits remained high with Greenshank, Brent Goose, Black-tailed Godwits, Redshank, Little Grebe, Little Egret, Oystercatcher, Lapwing and Curlew available on the estuary and Reed Bunting, Goldcrest, Grey Wagtail, Meadow Pipits found elsewhere. Some 54 species were recorded and we all had a great time.
