Stover

On a quick walk around Stover Lake this morning there were 2 male Pochard, quite a Devon rarity these days. Tufted Ducks, a female Wigeon and 2 male Goosander also present.

The bird feeders were busy with 2 Marsh Tit, Siskin, male Great Spotted Woodpecker and 2 Stock Dove the highlights.

A Water Rail showed very well by the side of the Lake before dashing into cover.
