Old Torrington Road Barnstaple

The great tit family must have fledged today whilst I was out so sadly don’t know how many young there were. Red kite flew low over the garden at 15.30 and headed off SE.

Spoonbill

I’m pretty sure I spotted a Spoonbill in the Exe Estuary as my train just passed through Starcross at about 3.05pm on 8th May. It was feeding at low tide. It looked up a bit & I saw it’s ‘spooned beak’. It was on its own.
