Wrafton pond area

Yesterday around Wrafton Pond there was very little to report other than a couple of young Little Grebes and one adult, a Chiffchaff in trees near the metal fencing, a single swan and a few Mallard. Along the path towards Tesco were a Blue tit, a Great tit and a Long tailed tit and in a tree near the main gate was a Collard Dove. From the little bridge – in the field on the left were two Blackbirds, a Song Thrush a Robin, a few House Sparrows and a Wren. In the hedge and trees on the right were two Long tailed tits (one with a metal ring) a Song Thrush (not the same bird seen earlier on the other side) a few Starlings and House Sparrows in a tree across the water was a single Greenfinch with a metal rings.
