Yesterday at BGM. , L T tits, Snipe, Spoonbills 2, Little Egrets, Gadwall, Pintail, Wigeon, Teal,  Tufted Ducks, Shelduck, Canada and Greylag Geese, Lapwings,, Moorhen. From the viewing platform: Avocets, Greenshank, Redshank and Spotted Redshank 1.

Great Haldon

At least 12 Crossbills in spruces near source of Kate Brook, close to the Racecourse. A Woodcock flushed from near Kate Brook further down the valley. Yesterday, further down the valley still, a Firecrest by Harcombe Lakes.

Plym Estuary & Saltram

Two gull species significantly up today, with 90 Commons & 31 Lesser Black-backeds (the latter including red ringed  “AUAW”; awaiting details). Also, Mediterranean Gull (3rd cy), Grey Plover, Common Sandpiper, 6 Greenshanks, Turnstone, 39 Wigeon, 2 Goosanders (1 drake), Kingfisher (male) & 7 Roe Deer.
