Also, yesterday, Treecreeper, 2 Mediterranean Gulls (2nd & 3rd cys), 2 pairs of Shelduck with ducklings and an Orange-tip.

Have seen single Red Kite over Sidford a couple of times this last week.
River Mole Valley
Plenty of activity in the orchard earlier including Yellowhammer, Bullfinch, Greenfinch,Garden Warbler, Goldfinch, Goldcrest, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Blackcap, Linnet, Mistle Thrush ,Song Thrush and best of all Spotted Flycatcher.Elsewhere Sand Martins active at their nest site and recently fledged Pied Wagtails in the farmyard.
Ottery St Mary
Reed Bunting (M) on the R Otter at Fluxton this afternoon. First time I have seen one in this area.

Still some waders around passing through resting & refuelling on their way to their breeding grounds.
7 Grey Plover & mixed flock of Ringed Plover & Dunlin foraging in Horsey earlier this morning.

Meldon Common
Yesterday morning on the Moor near Throwleigh there were: two Goldfinches; a pair of Willow Warblers collecting insects for there brood; a few Linnets; and a distant Cuckoo. Later on Meldon Common there were: two pairs of Stonechats and a few fledgelings; two Whitethroats; two Skylarks; a few Linnets; and lots of Butterflies that in the main were Green Hairstreak.
