Yesterday afternoon while traveling to Manaton from Bovey Tracey in the torrant of rain my brain kicked-in and decided that a walk around Yarner Wood would be a good idea, how wrong was that! I was soaked through to my skin when I got back to my vehicle. However, despite the heavy rain I did manage to spot a few birds a Robin, Wren, a Willow Warbler (also heard) and a Pied Flycatcher.
