About 3pm over Wrafton pond & the scrape field by Jons reserve were more Sand Martins than I’ve ever seen there before. The sky was full of them, from low over the water to so high they were hard to see. I counted 60 and there were surely more! 30 minutes I observed them and not a single swallow! In the field were 2 LBB’s with a few HG’s and a single Cattle Egret. I heard 2 Cettis and numerous Chiffchaff.
