First stop at Wrafton Pond where a drake Pochard has appeared. Small Tit flock in the reserve with Goldcrest and several Long-tailed Tits. Several Reed Warblers singing/croaking along with Chiffchaff and Blackcap in song. Swallow, Swift and House Martin in close attendance. For the second day running, a female Marsh Harrier (first I’ve seen in the area since 3rd May) over the Sherpa reed-bed. Finally a smart male Stonechat as I left.
