Nought of note on Wrafton Pond, but on the scrape 76 Black-tailed Godwits, 11 Knot, 2 Spotted Redshank, and 3 Redshank. About half-a-dozen House Martins hawking above. Goldcrest in the reserve, where in yesterday’s warm sun an immaculate Wall Brown butterfly provided a reminder of the summer.
Also, one of the Godwits had colour rings on – I will send the details off and hope I got all the rings right, then post any replies on here.
