Birds everso slightly affected by the weather this morning. Over Wrafton Pond, Swallows and Sand Martins, were flying very low, but many of them struggling and lots perched on reed stems near the viewing platform. Only 3 Teal and 2 Little Egrets on the scrape. In the reserve 3 Swallows perched on the Kingfisher branch. Never seen them do that before. In the lee of the reserve good numbers of Sand Martins and Swallows feeding low to the ground.
