The drake Common Scoter, first seen on 31 July, was present again at high tide today feeding close inshore near Wembury Point. Other sightings included single Ringed Plover, Sanderling and Whimbrel on the beach, 4 Mediterranean Gulls and 8 Whitethroats. Also 5 Clouded Yellows.
