Very breezy at Wembury this morning but an early start for the high tide before the dog walkers arrived en masse was worth it with a cracking Curlew Sandpiper roosting along the beach with 6 Turnstone, 5 Sanderling and 2 Dunlin – a rare treat in Devon in the spring and very confiding.
