An early start to beat the dog walkers paid off this morning with 1 Curlew, 1+ Whimbrel, 1 summer plumaged Sanderling, 2 Redshank, 2 Common Sandpiper and 5 Ringed Plover along with the usual Oystercatchers on the beach as the tide dropped.
Also present 40+ variously plumaged Mediterranean Gulls (5 juveniles), an adult and juvenile Sandwich Tern and 2 Little Egrets.
