Red-backed Shrike in the reserve this morning, but sadly not seen later.
I was walking around the reserve with my 2 volunteers (Warren and Nigel) And after we had counted most species, I left them so I could return and open a net or two, They took a while to reappear, and looked a little sheepish, so I asked if they had seen anything good. Well yes they said, and fortunately Warren had taken a couple of distant shots, which I will try to attach if i can work out how !
