Late morning visit: near the entrance the first Meadow Pipit of the autumn and then 3 Redwings in the reserve. Yesterday’s ringing session was busy early on, then odds and ends later, including 16 Blue Tits, 7 of which were in the first net I came to on the first round! 2 Goldcrests, 1 Blackcap, 1 Bullfinch, 1 Coal Tit, 1 GSW, and 2 Kingfishers were the best of the rest.
