Started in the rain at the LORP project and fortunately were put onto the Lesser Yellowlegs by Steve Cox (thanks!) Then we headed for the Jetty Marsh reserve for the Night Heron where fortunately again this time Paul B obliged with a pin-point on a map of where we should be looking. At this stage we weren’t sure if it was an adult or a juv. Eventually I spied it in a fairly open Willow tree. Glad to say that several local birders arrived and good views and Pics were obtained. Finally up to Yarner, in the dry, but really only one Pied Flycatcher to show for it.
