An unusually high count of 17 Sandwich Tern and 2 Common Tern at the high tide roost this afternoon. A Peregrine sat out on the marsh for a while before hunting over the Burrows where it appeared to catch a Starling. A Sparrowhawk flew low along the line of stones and then uncharacteristically landed on the mud before flying on to land in some shallow water at the tides edge.
