At The Skern at midday today along with many hundreds of Oystercatcher and a mixed flock of Dunlin & Ringed Plover and a lone Turnstone were 89 Curlew. 3 Sandwich Terns seen, and heard, and one each, Northern Wheatear (f) and a Greenshank. Numerous Barn Swallows were hawking over the foreshore, but some were seen higher up & definitely Southbound.
