About 60 Brent Geese on the edge of the water as the tide came in this morning 22.10.23 along with Shelduck, Mallard, Wigeon and a few Teal. Usual flocks of Oystercatchers, Curlew and about 200 Golden Plover on the edge of the marsh. One late summer visitor, a Wheatear was present near Grey Sand Mere.
Yesterday there was a Peregrine hunting over the Skern but disturbed by a loose dog chasing waders over the mud.
