Walked down the river bank to Sherpa Marsh late afternoon. Lots of Sand Martins. over the reed-eds and water. The Great Egret now in full summer plumage: Black bill and red legs. Male Sparrowhawk causing much disturbance amongst the small birds. 3 or 4 dozen Pied Wagtails. No Yellow ones.
