Great White Egret in the reeds and one Reed Bunting (M) were the highlights along with calling Chiff-Chaff and Cettis, singing Skylarks, a few Chaffinches, and at least 7 Grey Herons, one Little Egret and our 1st Peacock….butterfly of the Spring. Also seen numerous Meadow Pippit, a few dozen Canada Geese, 5 Mute Swans and about 20 Teal. On the Caen River was one of each Grey Wagtail, Redshank & Common Sandpiper
