A morning birding the area between Countess Weir and Marsh Barton on both sides of the river. At the Countess Weir end Green Sandpiper, 5 Teal, 2 Shoveler, Male Stonechat, 8 Meadow Pipit, male Bullfinch, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Water Rail, 10+ Redwing, 2 Song Thrush, Little Grebe and Goldcrest.
At the Salmon Pool end including the Leat were Grey Wagtail, 11+ Redwing, 3 Song Thrush, Raven, Common Gull , 40+ Goldfinch and 5+ Teal.
