This afternoon on the dropping tide an Osprey fishing off the Rowing Club, successful on its third attempt and flew off over Chelson Meadow towards Stag Lodge. The Gulls starting to roost on the exposed mud were very unhappy and all noisely took to the air alerting me to the Ospreys prescence.

Also along the river were 3 adult Mediterranean Gulls and 4 Shag while at Blaxton Meadow a Black-tailed Godwit was just about visible in the tall vegetation amongst the roosting Curlews.
