A dozen House Martins were checking out the house at 7am causing excitement to the resident Swallows.The Sand Martins have returned to their usual nesting site but winter erosion of the river bank has given them extra work to do.I counted 20 which is the most I have seen at this site.Also seen Grey Wagtail, Dipper, Moorhen, .A solitary male Goosander flew off ,4 Blackcap, Greenfinch, Bullfinch, linnet,Goldfinch, Treecreeper, Marsh Tit and Yellowhammer,.Non avian included 24 Orange-tips,Green- veined White,2 Roe Deer and 20 Red Deer hinds.
