The final stage of the remedial work to the ditches and scrapes at South Huish is scheduled to start this Friday (13th). The work should be completed in a couple days and includes rebuilding the weir between the first scrape and the main ditch, and clearing the side ditch furthest from the sea.
Devon Birds contractor (Rory Sanders) will then move on to South Milton to clear an overgrown ditch on the North side of Reserve, between the treatment plant and the boardwalk. This work will also likely take a couple of days and hopefully will be completed by Monday 16th.
