At stover Country Park 5.30 _7pm lovely sight of mute Swans and 9!! Healthy cygnets, 2 nuthatch nests 1 on ranger/visitor centre 1 in box at end of aerial walkway being watched by pair of Jay’s. 1 pair of great crested grebes. 1 greater spotted woodpecker, green woodpecker heard. 1 lone male tufted duck. 1 tree creeper. 2 herons , 1 distant view of possible purple heron( not a clear view as in thick reeds opp the hide) usual mix on lake coots, moorhens 3 Canada geese, (1 still sitting on nest) 3 heron gulls, 5 male and 2 f Mandarin
