A walk out to VP at lunch time. Nice to see a pair of Kestrels and 3rd CY male Marsh Harrier. On the marsh 30+ Teal, 3 Gadwall, Little Grebe and 4 Shoveler.
On the land 4+ singing Chiffchaff (more indication of a small arrival), 23+ Meadow Pipit, 33+ Chaffinch and F Stonechat.
3 Brimstone, a Peacock were first this year. But best of all was a very confiding Otter in one of the ditches.
