After a period of absence, a surprise on my return to the patch, with a very late Reed Warbler. On Blaxton Meadow, Lapwing, 26+ Snipe, 9 Greenshanks & a Common Sandpiper. Otherwise, Firecrest, 15+ Siskins, Blackcap, Great Spotted Woodpecker, 12 Turnstones, a drake Teal, 4 Goosanders (2 drakes) & 2 Red-breasted Mergansers (1 drake).
