A pair of Great Black-backed Gulls were scavenging on the decayed carcass of a Fallow Buck just upstream of the cycle bridge at low water before midday.
A little earlier the single Avocet was on Blaxton Meadow for its third day, and was still present after 4:00pm.
Also a male Black Redstart was on derelict ground at Millbay Docks.
