High tide at midday produced the following: 9 Greenshank, 6 Common Sandpiper, 35 Curlew, 4 Whimbrel, 3 Oystercatcher with single Black-tailed Godwit and Dunlin. The usual supporting cast included 16 Little Egret, 6 Grey Heron, 3 Shelduck and a Kingfisher. Only 7 juvenile Black-headed Gulls were noted amongst the total of 364.
