In a country lane near Parracombe were a small flock of Linnets, a few Swallows and a Stonechat.
Near County Gate I saw and heard Cuckoo as it flew past at speed, a Chiffchaff, a Wren near the main road and one Goldfinch.
Back in Barnstaple, close to the Tesco and Homebase roundabout I spotted a Lesser Black Backed Gull sitting in the rain on top of a lamp post.
