Stationed in the main car park, from 1520, Paul McEleny and I had stellar and prolonged (15 minutes), views of the young Pallid Harrier as it flew towards us down the valley, with the cottage on its right hand side. It even landed on the bank behind the car park for 5 minutes and then did a huge loop back towards the cottage, turning right and headed out of sight towards Trowlesworthy Tor.
