The Devon Birds East Devon Branch Field Trip dropped in on the LORP area of the Otter Estuary last week and amassed at least 53 species. Highlight for me especially, was finally getting good views of two Water Pipits amongst the Meadow Pipits. Also seen were Ringed Plover, Dunlin, Snipe, Stonechat, Black-tailed Godwit, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Brent Geese, Curlew and at least 12 Little Egrets.
