A cycle around Matford Marsh to the Double Locks. Whitethroat singing at back of marsh, Cetti’s there too. A second Cetti’s singing at Countess Weir, from viewing screen and a third at fishing pools at Doubke Locks. Reed Warbler singing at those pools too. Over the cycle ride, 3 Swallows at Countess Weir, 3 singing Blackcaps, 7 singing Chiffchaff and a singing Reed Bunting.
At Dawlish Warren on Friday, Common Sandpiper from the train (Shutterton Creek), 8+ Sandwich Tern offshore, Willow Warbler sub song in bushes, a Rock Pipit and 3 Whimbrel flew past.
