A cycle around the river valley today. On Matford Marsh 12 Teal, Snipe, 16+ Stock Dove, 2 Raven, Green & Great Spotted Woodpeckers, Jay, Grey Wagtail, Bullfinch & Cetti’s Warbler. 8+ Chiffchaff too, however 20+ Chiffchaff for whole area today. On the river valley another Raven, 2 Dippers below Trew Weir, Grey Wagtail and a Goldcrest. (Didn’t visit main river valley as went via east side, along Exe Leat, Belle Isle Park up to Trew Weir today).
