Best birds of note were 85+ Mediterranean Gulls, 50+ on cattle field just south of lagoon on Exminster Marsh. Rest in a flock of 35 flying south from canal wall.
25+ Sand Martin, 8 Swift, 10+ House Martin over marsh. 3+ Juv Swallow at Turf. 4 pairs of Shelduck with young, 3, 3, 5 & 8.
At Countess Weir 2 Egyptian Gesse and a Common Sandpiper. 30+ House Martins there too, probably local birds. Whitethroat singing just south of Double Locks. Otherwise a few Reed Warbler singing, maybe 6-8 Blackcap too along route.
