Seeing other posts, which aren’t so positive about House Martin numbers. In Alphington there have been a minimum of 16 successful nests, maybe 18. As good as any of past three years. I also believe that they have done well in other parts of Exeter. 28+ successful nests at Countess Weir, but possibly 4 more. Good numbers near Exeter Quay too, with 15-20 nests. Maybe the presence of lots of water and now uncut grasslands is helping. Fingers crossed this is the case.
