Mid-afternoon at Fremington Pill there were 2 snipe, unusually in the middle of the stream. Spotted redshank was present and 2 glossy ibis came in later on. There were plenty of teal and redshank but the black-tailed godwit numbers have dwindled – only a few in the Pill and another 20 further around on the shores of the Taw.
