Little sign of any new arrivals. The low high tide meant most waders remained on the estuary; groups of bar-tailed godwit, black-tailed godwit, redshank, knot and curlew were close to the Turf.
On the marsh the 2 spoonbill were on the roost with a few cormorant and shelduck. A single wheatear was near the lagoon where c100 sand martin were feeding low over the water. A small group of c10 swallows flew through.
Unlike yesterday there were no singing willow, sedge or reed warblers. Just Cettis and chiffchaff heard briefly.
