Visit coincided with high tide. Wader roost close to Station Road and included c90 black-tailed godwit (some in summer plumage), c80 curlew, c40 bar-tailed godwit (also with some summer plumaged birds). Elsewhere on the marsh, one marsh harrier, at least 8 wheatear, 4 common buzzard and a couple of swallows. Heard a very brief reed warbler near canal side car park.
Later single house martin over the village.
