Best today was my first Merlin of the autumn, over the airfield. A westerly movement of 125 Meadow Pipit, 135 Skylark, 2 Bullfinch, Grey Wagtail and 6 Siskin.
Also: 9 Swallow, 260 Herring Gull, 240 Linnet, 31 House Sparrow, 41 Robin, 7 Wheatear, 27 Chiffchaff, Whitethroat,5 Blackcap, Golden Plover, 240 Linnet and a further 3 Bullfinch.
