Yesterday the East Devon Branch of Devon Birds took it upon themselves to crawl around Exminster Marshes on their 6th Field Trip for the year. Together we mustered over 50 species, most notable were, 2 Spoonbills, Egyptian Geese, Grey Plover, Kestrel, Reed Bunting and summer visitors of Wheatear, Sedge Warbler, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, House Martin, Sand Martin and Blackcap. Good company, fair weather and muddy boots.
