Dartmoor yesterday 15th October
Picking up the moor above Bickington, at Easton Lane Cross 3 Meadow Pipit, 13 Linnet, 2 Buzzard and a female Bullfinch.
Soussons area ~ 2 GSWP, good numbers of Chaffinch, 3 Stonechat, Crossbill flying over, 3 Pied Wagtail, single Skylark, Red Fox and a magnificent Red Deer stag enjoying the sunshine.
Powder Mill ~ 100 plus Golden Plover, Mistle Thrush, Pied Wagtails, large Chaffinch flock.
Cadover ~ Numerous sightings of Ring Ouzels, 43 sightings recoded of I suspect around 12 birds, 8 Mistle Thrush, female Kestrel, Buzzard, Meadow Pipits, Stonechat, Green Woodpecker, Grey and Pied Wagtail and 2 Goldcrest.
This morning at home at South Brent five Redwing flying over.
