Me and my brother were delighted to hear not one, but we believe we heard two cuckoos whilst asparagus farming today, we where in one of the fields before we get to the gas yard, It was both our first time hearing the distinct sound and we managed to record them on MerlinBirdID. sadly both were not seen but it was brilliant to hear them, might go and find them soon!!
